Quincy and I have been friends since I came out to Utah for college. When I finally saw Brad + Quincy together during our shoot, it was clear from the start that there is no better match for Quincy. They love rap and are both angel-faced models. What else do you need to have the perfect relationship? But seriously, they are the best. The day we were shooting it was dreary and overcast which made it pretty cold and windy (thanks for nothing St. George), but it was so worth it. I love this shoot forever.
Quincy’s dress is from J. Noelle Design and can we say S T U N N I N G. Her hat is the Monroe Oatmeal Rancher Hat from Gigi Pip. I don’t know where Brad’s pants are from, but I’m also obsessed with them. Tyler absolutely needs a pair next time we get married and have a formals shoot.
I am obsessed with limbs. Maybe that sounds serial killer-ish, but it’s true. Obviously you’re going to get a lot of face action in a photoshoot, but when you shoot with me you’re also going to get some shots focused on your hands, feet, arms, legs. They help tell your story. My beautiful Quincy is a dancer and I would have been very content to spend the whole shoot just shooting those dancer legs. Ugh. Freaking gorgeous.
I love the shots where you can see quincy little converse peaking out. She forgot to bring shoes, so she went barefoot on the rock. But when we switched to the grass, she had to put shoes on, and these were all that were in her car. I’m really happy she forgot “nice” shoes.
Quincy + Brad, you freaking angel faces! Let’s shoot a million more times together ok? And next time let’s go to St. George when it’s not having a meltdown and the weather is nice.
